Terms and Conditions

The rules and responsibilities that apply when accessing eGovAI, managing an agency workspace, or integrating a Custom AI Engine.

Last updated: September 19, 2026

Acceptance and eligibility

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the eGovAI website, agency portal, Custom AI Engines, integration APIs, and related services. By using the platform, you agree to follow these terms and all applicable Philippine laws, regulations, and government policies.

Agency management features are intended for authorized representatives of approved organizations. You must provide accurate registration information and use the platform only within the authority granted by your organization.

The eGovAI service

eGovAI enables approved agencies to create and manage their own governed chatbots and Custom AI Engines. Depending on configuration, an engine may use agency-uploaded documents, approved MCP-connected tools, selected AI providers, and current public information.

Features, usage limits, supported formats, models, and integrations may change as the platform is improved or as operational and security requirements evolve.

Accounts and credentials

  • Keep passwords, one-time codes, API keys, API secrets, and service credentials confidential.
  • Store integration secrets only in trusted server-side systems; never expose them in browser or mobile application code.
  • Promptly revoke credentials and notify the appropriate administrator if unauthorized use is suspected.
  • You are responsible for activity performed through credentials issued to your account or agency, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Agency content and configuration

Your agency retains responsibility for the documents, prompts, tool connections, instructions, and other material it submits or makes available through an engine. You must have the authority and lawful basis required to process and use that material.

Do not upload classified information, credentials, unnecessary personal data, or material that your agency is not authorized to disclose or process. Configure engine access, guardrails, and connected tools according to your agency's security and records-management requirements.

AI-generated output

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. Outputs do not automatically constitute an official government record, decision, legal opinion, medical advice, or binding agency guidance.

Agencies must apply appropriate human review before relying on output for decisions, public communications, or actions that affect rights, benefits, safety, or access to government services.

Acceptable use

You may not use eGovAI to violate law, compromise systems or credentials, facilitate violence or illegal activity, bypass access controls, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, misrepresent AI output as verified official action, or interfere with platform availability.

Automated access must use the documented APIs, assigned credentials, and applicable limits. Attempts to probe, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or circumvent platform safeguards are prohibited unless expressly authorized for an approved security assessment.

Connected services and third parties

Agencies may connect external systems through MCP or use configured AI and infrastructure providers. The agency is responsible for approving those connections, reviewing tool permissions, and ensuring that external services are suitable for the intended data and use case.

Separate terms and privacy practices may apply to third-party systems. eGovAI is not responsible for services operated outside its control.

Availability and account action

We may limit, suspend, or revoke access to protect users, agencies, the public, or platform infrastructure; address misuse or security risks; comply with legal obligations; or perform maintenance. We may also require credential rotation or configuration changes when necessary.

The service is provided subject to operational availability. No uninterrupted or error-free operation is guaranteed.

Responsibility and limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, eGovAI and its operators are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized credentials, agency-provided content, third-party integrations, or reliance on unverified AI output. Nothing in these terms excludes obligations or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated when the platform, applicable rules, or operational requirements change. The current version and update date will be published on this page.

Questions about these terms may be sent to [email protected].
